El Morro National Monument, also known as Inscription Rock, has been painted numerous times by Cattaneo. It is very popular site for visitors to witness the inscribing names of the first travelers that discovered this area. It is an enchanting area with a small pool of ever-present water at the Eastern side of the cliff near the inscriptions.
